Green Deal
Green Deal is a government initiative which is funded by the big six energy companies, to improve the energy efficiency of millions of privately owned and rented households and businesses in England, to help them make energy savings. There are no upfront costs to you the customer; instead a loan will be taken out with a green deal provider, over the lifetime of the property. The golden rule is that the savings made, with the energy saving measures, will out way the costs of repaying the loan.
The benefits are simple;
• Make savings on your heating bills
• Effectively insulate and heat your home
• Only pay while you occupy the property
The first planned projects won’t commence until late January 2013, but you can sign up now.
